Professional Biography:

Tatsiana Puchkova is candidate of biological sciences. She graduated from the Biological Faculty of the Belarusian State University in 1994. After graduating from the university, she worked at the Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, starting as an intern researcher. In 1998-2001 she studied in postgraduate school of the Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Her supervisor was doctor of biological sciences Babitskaya V.G. In 2003 Puchkova T. defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of biological sciences in the specialities "microbiology" and "biotechnology" on the topic: "Physiological and biochemical characteristics of the fungus Lentinus edodes (Berk.) Sing". In 2011-2015 she worked in the laboratory of experimental mycology and biodeterioration as a leading researcher. Winner of the scholarship of the President of the Republic of Belarus (2006) for young scientists. For the cycle of joint research projects "Development of biotechnologies for the cultivation of new for Ukraine and Belarus species of edible and medicinal mushrooms" Puchkova T.A. awarded the prize of the Academies of Sciences of Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova 2007 (together with Babitskaya V.G., Scherba V.V.). In 2018 she was awarded the academic title of associate professor in the speciality "General Biology".

Research work:

Research interests: the physiology and biochemistry of fungi, the use of fungi in biotechnology, biodeterioration of natural and industrial materials.
