Leonid N. Valentovich

Ph.D. Associate professor. Born in 1981 in Minsk. Graduated from the Lyceum of Belarusian State University (1997-1999). BSc degree in Microbiology (1999 to 2004, Belarusian State University). Worked as a research assistant at the department of molecular biology (2004-2005). In 2005-2008 was a postgraduate student in Dr. Yevgeny Nikolaichik group. Project title: "Molecular biological characterisation of the dsp operon of phytopathogenic bacterium Erwinia carotovora".
Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics (2010).

Since November 2008 - Assistant of the Department of Molecular Biology.

Since November 2013 - Associate professor of the Department of Molecular Biology.

Research interests - phytopathogenic bacteria, genomics, bioinformatics.
